| James Gibson is the Chief Executive Officer and owner of Edelweiss Pharmaceuticals. He is a pharmacist who has trained his focus on phytopharmaceuticals after an involvement with orthodox medicines. His particular interests lie in strategic management and new product development. He is responsible for production, quality control regulation and ISO 9000 implementation. He has an M.Phil. in Futures Studies, an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch Graduate School of Business, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Cape Town. He spends much of his time developing cosmeceutical formulations with phytopharmaceutical actives, especially those of Southern African origin. He is married with three daughters. He has a fondness for mountain climbing and golf, as well as oil and water colour painting. | |

Phaldie Cassiem is in charge of Quality Control at Edelweiss. He has a National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry and has been involved for many years in the regulatory environment of pharmaceutical manufacture.
Sheila van Straten is the Bookkeeper for Edelweiss. She is responsible for the management of the administrative division. |
