ARNICA & DEVIL'S CLAW MASSAGE OIL

Contains: 1% Arnica (Arnica montana) oleous extract and 1% Devil's Claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) oleous extract in a base consisting of C12-13 Pareth-4 and Sunflower Seed Oil. Essential oils: Lavender and Rosemary.

Description: The Massage Oil contains Arnica flowers (Arnica montana) and the anti-inflammatory Devil's Claw (Harpagophytum procumbens). Its is extracted into a special oily base that increases its penetration and provides emollience for the skin, leaving it supple and soft. Arnica is an important reliever of inflammation and muscular pain due to bruising and injury. The oil also contains lavender and rosemary essential oils. A solubilizer has been added so that the oil may be wiped off with a damp cloth after therapy - a great plus for male patients who may not feel comfortable with a large expanse of oil left on their bodies. The oil is also available in a fragrance-free base. It has been shown to provide negligible interference to the conduction of ultrasound. Jenny’s Gold Arnica Massage Oil comes in a handy 250ml squeeze bottle with a pump-action decanter or a 500ml and 1L plastic bottle for decanting.

Contraindications: Sensitivity to any of the ingredients. In particular lavender has been known to cause sensitization in some people. This may be treated with a mild steroid cream applied twice daily or a herbal emollient cream such as calendula or comfrey. Products containing these ingredients should be avoided by people exhibiting allergic responses.

ARNICA & DEVIL'S CLAW ULTRASOUND GEL

Contains: Arnica aqueous extract (Arnica montana) 0.5%, Devil's Claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) 0.5%, Carbomer 940 (neutralized with sodium hydroxide), hydroxymethylcellulose, sterile water and Kathon CG (preservative).

Description: The Arnica Ultrasound Gel is a high quality ultrasound gel specially developed for professional use with ultrasound machines and for situations where suitable lubrication is required.  It contains an extract of the arnica flower that has the effect reducing the bruising and pain associated with muscular and subcutaneous injury. When the physiotherapist applies the ultrasound machine's treatment head to the injured part, the ultrasound waves enhance the penetration of the arnica into the injury site.  The arnica has been shown not to interfere with ultrasound conduction, so that while the physiotherapist is applying the ultrasound, arnica is being penetrated into the skin simultaneously, giving a dual benefit at no extra cost. Jenny’s Gold Arnica Ultrasound Gel comes in a squeezable 5 liter plastic container with a ‘sauce’ spout for easy dispensing.

Contraindications: Sensitivity to any of the ingredients.
